Overview


Established in 1977 as a traditional telephone answering service, JAM has evolved into a bespoke 24-hour communication centre. JAM originally came into existence to service the needs of musicians who during the seventies were missing out on potential bookings.

JAM Media Response now has the benefit of close to thirty years experience providing call centre services. As our applications are written in-house, we are able to fine-tune our services exactly to the requirements of the client, however large or small the business.

What Do You Offer?


Our telephone answering service can be tailored to your needs. We can answer your calls just Monday to Friday, just during lunchtimes, or 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For many people we ask Name, Number, Short message and then send the message to your mobile or by Email so you can call your customer back quickly. Alternatively we can take a complete order with credit card details, and then process the credit card and fulfil the products. We'll do brochure request calls, helplines, competitions, emergency callout rotas, in fact anything that could involve answering the phone for your company.

We also give you a password-controlled webpage where you can see all your data realtime and can run reports and searches on all your data we've ever taken for you.

What ever a client's goals are: basic message taking, taking orders, helplines, responding to advertisement enquiries, general information requests, or diary bookings - JAM has the expertise to professionally service those needs.

How Do I Get Setup With You?


Using our Telephone Answering Service is simple. We give you your own telephone number to use, which is usually a regular London number, or we can provide you an 0870 number at no extra charge. You can divert your phone to that number, or publish that number directly in your advertisements etc. Simply tell us how you'd like your calls to be answered, how you want to receive your messages and we'll set up your dedicated call answering system for you

What Happens When a Call Comes In?


When a call comes in on your number, which automatically opens a screen with your own scripted questions and information, 'your' receptionist will be able to answer the phone with your preferred greeting. We will then take a message from the caller, asking them any questions you require such as:

Date of birth / Reason for calling / How they heard of you etc

How Do I Get My Messages?


The message can be sent to you via email, SMS, fax, voicemail, etc, or you can read the message through this website under 'Member Services'. Messages are stored on our systems for years, so you can log onto our website and for instance find a message from 4 years ago to find the address of a caller
